'I took a friend to see the castle - on a very beautiful day - and I must say that you have done a wonderful job. The walkway from the road was delightful and listening to and seeing so many birds and butterflies was an added bonus. I fully intend to take other friends of mine there when they visit me'. S Johnston, Dwygyfylchi.

'It was a magical, beautiful, idyllic place, the 'Glen'. Lleiniog castle could not be seen at all unless you knew it was there! To get to the castle we jumped over stones in the river, before climbing up through the trees, to embark on to the moat, which was so beautiful covered with bluebells and primroses. We would spend ages picking primroses and making daisy chains. The castle walls were huge and there we would play for hours on end. In our minds lovely fairies would fly around us, or soldiers would be in battle, cowboys shooting at one another and Indians chasing them, or beautiful princesses, dragonflies, butterflies and bumble bees, they would all be there. Truly magical! When I cross this new bridge and walk the new paths, I have a smile on my face. I let myself go back in time. Time when I would play with my firends again. I truly hope that people will enjoy it as much as we did - and appreciate it'. Childhood memories of the castle. J Ap Thomas, Llandegfan.

'We have lived in the area for 30 years and although we had seen details of the castle on various maps we hadn't accessed the site until recently. What a wonderful find!' A Lock, Beaumaris.

'I had a walk to Castell Aberlleiniog today and was very impressed with the development. A great improvement on years ago when I visited the site and had to jump the river and scramble through undergrowth to get there'. R Phillips, Beaumaris.
